Back in 2005, I lived in Berlin, Germany for five months and at the end of my workation there (as they call in in the film industry), I took the train from Berlin to Dresden and from Dresden to Prague. It took a day to get there and it was so fun!
I will never forget my four short days there as I did feel like I was at a Disneyworld for adults. I stayed at the Four Seasons and it was glamorous! I splurged, yes I did, I felt like I deserved it after working like a slave for five months just to get let go at the end because the director got fired. Anyways, as I was saying... four very short days and I promised myself I would go back but this time for a couple weeks. So I did the research for you if you are more keen, like me, on staying at unique places - so here is my list of 10 uniques places to crash in Praha.

1. Jested Hotel, Liberec.
The accommodation on Mount Ještěd is an unforgettable experience. Each of the rooms has views that you can never be offered anywhere else.
2. Portx, Prague.
Houseboat or house? Both. PORT X is a bold challenge to conventional houseboats and houses. We prefer to call it a "floating house", because under the term "houseboat" most of us imagine a rather smaller floating object with its own drive and accommodation cabin. 4. Vinarstvi Pod Hradem, Klentnice.
Wooden barrel with double bed and spectacular views of the vineyard offers a truly unique experience. In the barrel there is a lighting socket for 220 and heating. Those who like to watch the stars can use some of the wooden deck chairs that are located right next to the barrels. Accommodation in the barrel is possible from March to mid November. The winery offers accommodation in two such barrels, which bear the distinctive names of Pálava and Sauvignon. Bathroom with toilet is located just a few steps from the barrel, shared for 3 such units.
