I love warm weather. I am a tropical girl one hundred percent (except for the part where I have Irish ancestry but that's for another blog) and grew up spending my Christmases on the beach, swimming in warm lagoons, and sipping on fresh coconut water.
One of my favorite places to spend Christmas is Pauanui, New Zealand in the Coromandel region. I had the pleasure of spending last Christmas there and when asked where I'd like to spend Christmas this year, my thoughts went straight there. I was challenged however to go to a place that I haven't been yet which sparked this blog.
So after days of research and asking people about amazing tropical places to spend Christmas, here is my list of 10 Amazing Tropical Places to Spend Christmas at (Please not: they are not in any particular ranking order):
1. Pauanui, New Zealand.

2. Port Antonio, Portland, Jamaica
Stay at the Great Huts Resort.
3. Samana Peninsula, Dominican Republic
Stay at the Dominican Tree House Village
4. Gili Trawangan, Indonesia
Stay at Ombak Sunset
5. Maui, Hawaii
Stay at the Travaasa Hana Resort, Lumeria Maui, or the Hotel Wailea.
I have stayed at all three and they are all amazing, very different is style, they offer very different vibes but all come with tons of aloha and stomach bursting food it's so good!

6. Huahine, French Polynesia

7. Fiji
Stay at the Voli Voli Beach Resort in Rakiraki, North East of the main island of Fiji. *See the following video by Just Drone NZ on Voli Voli, which is the best I found on YouTube on the resort.
8. Aruba
Stay at the Boardwalk Boutique Hotel in Eagle Beach, a tropical oasis, set on a historic coconut plantation.

9. Greece
Visit Crete or Corfu. They are still the least invaded places in Greece and have very affordable accomodations, great food, welcoming people.
